Mr. Parker retired from the Pro Shred scene last year. He still snowboards but doesn't want to be a "pro shred." He'll have a part in DC's movie as it is a compilation of their athletes over the years.
Corey, has just graduated college and pursuing art and other things besides snowboarding. He is still involved with Capita, continuing to do graphics for CAP!TA. 08/09 still has his mark on 2 series.
The Black Death Speed Tribe is incredible. A deck designed to rip the pow in the morning, drop cliffs in the afternoon and roll into a pipe session in the evening.
It's a bummer that they are off Capita, but I am happy for them. It's good that Corey is still very involved with Capita, as he is essential to the company, along with Travis.
Anyone ever ridden one of these and care to comment?
i've heard nothing but good things about the line...not that this really answers your question.
Craig Kelly (and fat girls) Forever.
does corey smith not ride for them anymore? Or Travis Paker?
where the hell did parker run off to? is he full fledged DC superstar now?
Parker quit pro riding before the 06/07 season even started. He is (or is still training to be?) a sushi chef. It sounds kooky, but then again, thus is Parker.
Apparently, Airblaster has a new film coming out this fall, but I doubt he'll be in it. He's not listed in this fall's DC MTN LAB movie, and he's not in this fall's Capita team vid either.
Travis did roll those tasty little fishies. I had the pleasure of working w/ Travis at the last restaurant I was with in Tahoe for the while we were both there. He's good people. And he's always smiley too.. a beautiful thing. Much luck to him w/his business endeavors!
(personally I don't really like to talk about people and their personal lives- thats how things People Mag get started.. d'oh!)
parker is attending fisk university in nashville, tennessee.
if that is in fact true, he's probably the only white dude enrolled there.
the extremes are sick this year, im just not sure if its worth 390
Exteme's are $419 this year, not $390. $100 extra gets you a sintered base over extruded, and upgraded core, pre-preg construction over wet lay up and a 1.5mm rubber dampening system between the edges and the sidewall. Give the board a bunch more durability for those prone to riding metal.

if you scrool down a lil bit, the price should be there
151 mid life artist or 152 stairmaster wide?
That is the exact same decision I came across. I ended up choosing the Stairmaster over the Mid Life. I'm not sure why. I've had a Stairmaster before (twice), and they are amazing.
What would be better for whistler conditions and backcountry kickers but still shreds in the park?
