Full of Broke

That is a great site! t-r-o-u-b-l-e. I can barely make it through the end of the month w/out goin broke.

Just got back from Reggae on the River, now known as 'Reggae Rising' - a 3 day rasta music festival on the Eel River in the Humboldt Redwoods. It was an awesome line-up, I was stoked to finally see Steel Pulse live. Ziggy, Damien, Stephen and Kymani (for a minute), Anthony B, Horace Andy & Tawnya Stephens and many more played full performances. All the bands played long sets and came out for 2-3 more. Plus, the live music went all night- Collie Buddz, Wisdom and all those kats (who played full sets on main stage) rocked the late-night stages til dawn every night. It was a fuzzzy week to say the least, which I extended by a mini-tour North up the Humboldt Redwood coast to visit friends for a few days (which was quiite lovely and reminded me why I love California coastline so damn much.)

Next weekend is Rock The Bells in SF (yaah!) and then the Warped Tour on 8/23 @ the Marysville Amphitheatre (great venue, comparable to Shoreline Amp.). Plus, my girl's birthday (day of RTB, I bought her tickie to the show for her b-day), my best friend's wedding in Minden (day after RTB) and then my birthday after Warped Tour - SWEET August!

So much for new gear... haaha... ; )
