August 1, 2007 San Clemente, California. Flow Snowboarding is very excited to add Greg Oakley and Don Bergeson to its US Sales force. Greg will take over as Flow’s Rocky Mountain representative and Don will be heading up the Midwest West territory.

Greg comes to Flow from Atomic Snowboards where he has been the Rocky Mountain rep for the last 5 years. He will continue representing Ogio in the Rockies. Before that Greg worked for Christy Sports for 9 years as a snowboard manager.

“I’m excited to be joining the Flow team! The company’s got a strong history of innovative products that have directly influenced the progression of snowboarding hardgoods, and the sport itself,” says Oakley.

Don joins the Flow crew after heading up the Midwest for the last 4 years with brands such as Palmer, Arbor, One Ball Jay and Sepia. Don joined the ranks of independent sale reps after numerous years inside sales support for Palmer Snowboards.

“I’m stoked to be part of the Flow Family! With great innovations and commitment to snowboarding Flow has taken a stand in the snowboard industry to provide a quality product. I’ve had the chance to work with a number of Flow reps and Management in the past and really feel that family atmosphere,” says Bergeson.

“Both Greg and Don’s experience, relationships, and energy will be a major asset to the Flow brand and our Retail Partners. They both bring a high level of professionalism and personality that can only be called contagious. I’m excited to be working with them both,” says Kevin Addy, National Sales Manager for Flow Snowboarding.

Flow is the originator of the reclining hiback binding. Since it’s beginnings in 1995, Flow has been the leader in sales of this technology and now is currently the #2 binding in sales in the World. Over the past ten years, in addition to perfecting the reclining hiback, Flow introduced its own line of boots and boards, “Triple Threat Technology ”. This system of boots, boards, and bindings is designed to heighten ease of use and control when used together. The Flow Team helped prove this by winning the 2006 Transworld Team Challenge, including best overall rider (Scotty Lago) and best halfpipe rider (Antti Autti).

So wait...

Did Fred get fired... or did he quit?

It's the end of an era in the Midwest! Must have been all those times Addy walked by the Flow booth in Madison and Fred didn't say hi! The VW Van Demo Days are over...

Greg Oakley

I have never heard Greg use any words like those he allegedly stated upon joining the Flow team..except for, "I'm excited...." Another odd thing is that the press release fails to mention Greg as a key player
with "Helmet Headz"..he did all the really cool ones....Good Luck, Greg from all the good people in New Hampshire
