Otterstrom 156.5

I have a Burton Custom 158. Its too damn long for freestyle and I like the specs of the Otterstrom. Just how stiff is it in comparison? I want a good idea of how the board feels before i go buying it (next season).

otterstrom is so damn good he

otterstrom is so damn good he could ride your car bumper and it wouldn't be too stiff.
the 156.5 will be all u need from now til eternity.

otterstrom 156.5

i have otterstrom 152 coming from the burton dominant 154, oh man to me its a whole different way of riding, from coming from a CUSTOM to an OTTERSTROM, is gna be a whole new world. (in a good way!) i love the otterstrom, your gna have a hell of a good time with the otterstrom

flex?

hey, anyone whos ridden the otterstrom care to comment on its stiffness for jumps (midsize 20-50 ft) and park jibbing? Right now I'm rocking a Lib Tech Phoenix that is a little too stiff for park jibbing/fun butteryness.

stiffness on jumps

yeah i was able to tell a huge difference coming from the burton dominant to the otterstrom 152, man my otterstrom boots me STRAIGHT up, today i went up to bear mountain, CA. and its my 3rd time with my otterstrom and i just finally got used to going off jumps, oh and to answer ur question, ITS NOT STIFF, its so flexy on jumps its insane.

well if you just go the custo

well if you just go the custom than i would keep it cause you would be blowing so much money.But if its a bit old or you dont mind sselling or somthing than I would get rid of it cause the otterstrom would be way better for freestyle.The custom is'nt even a freestyle board and at 158 its for pow and big mountain.

ahh

i have a custon 58 as well, im not that stoked on its but its a good board, as far as stiffness, any board gets softer as you use it, mines now quite flexi and ive rode it for 2 yrs, and it was flexy after 1. acedmys sick but i dont think its worth getting a new board for length reasons and getting a 156.5, cause there is basically no difference, about half an inch.
