It says on page 109 of September's Transworld that Section pants will be available in "team size" this year (2" extra length). Is this only for the XXL's or will it be an option for all sizes? The MFM syndicates in L were the first non-XL snowboard pant I've ever bought but I'd love a few more inches in length. Will team size pants be hard to find? thanks!

yes, but i am actually envolved in a music scene. im friends with bands and i go to shows. i like good hip hop but im not going to act like im a part of the culture. to me its just riping of the hip hop culture. lets drop these kids off with xxl t-shirts and huge, skull candy ear phones in the ghetto and see what happends.

You're being a little too one sided. Hip hop came from Brooklyn, yeah. But that doesn't mean that people that don't live in NYC can't appreciate it.
If you're going to say that people shouldn't wear something snowboarding, then you're lame. It's fucking snowboarding. I hate it when kids that rock hip hop style stuff say that they hate tight pants. Who cares?
People stare funny at my best friend and I on the lift because I wear XXL Section pants and a 4XL Yankees baseball jacket and he wears acid washed girls' jeans and a leather jacket. We both go to local shows and both bump hip hop. Because we're both OPEN MINDED. That's what snowboarding is about.
Plus, playing dress up is fun. You should try it.

Source received a letter from Section Inc. this week, with not good news. It appears that the tough season is having effect and Section will be closing for business.
The management of Section Inc. intends to wind down the affairs of the Company over the coming months. Management estimates that the current amount of secured debt owed to the Bank is well in excess of the net realizable value of the Company's assets and as a result there will be no residual asset value available for distribution to any of the Company's unsecured creditors.
With respect to any and all outstanding Section Inc. purchase orders, please be advised that all such orders that you may have received in the past from Section, Inc. are hereby cancelled.
Section Inc, however, has transferred all of its customer files to Mr. John Walbrecht, Mr. Troy Bush and Mr. Trent Bush. You may be contacted by the Transferees on their own behalf some time in the future as they may have an interest in trying to continue the branded Section business under a separate entity. As a consequence, therefore, any future dealings that you may have with the Transferees will be separate and distinct from your past dealing with Section, Inc.
We sincerely regret the Company's current financial difficulties, we thank you for your past support and we wish you the best in the future.

As someone who seems to try awfully hard to project an air of enlightenment, you are putting forth a phenomenally ignorant argument.
While I understand that what you are saying is based upon a personal opinion, given your past arguments it is difficult to not attack this one.
As far as I can tell, you are an isolationist both nationally and culturally. You are against international trade and now you are stating that unless you are fully immersed in a culture you should not emulate it in any manner. With your logic, absolutely no musical progression would have occurred in the 20th century and snowboarding and skateboarding would not exist. Some kid in the Midwest shouldn't be able to wear Quiksilver because he has never been surfing.
This is asinine. Hip hop has been fused into snowboarding from the beginning, as has punk. They share a sense of rebellion against the status quo. I agree that people take it over the top without a full respect or knowledge of the culture. But, when you start to limit choices and influences, you stifle progression and open dangerous doors to censorship. As someone who lists Karl Marx, Darwin, and Malcolm X as influences, I would think you would have more sense than to continue this argument.
You don't like Section, you don't like the gangster look, leave it at that, stop telling people what cultures they can be influenced by.
