M4 is apparantly done as I read a press release that their whole team is now riding Artec snowboards with Blaise Rosenthal still at the helm as creative director.hmmm.
I don't think Elan could have gotten luckier, having basically the entire M4 team come to Artec. Due to the imminent mass exposure of the brand, Artec is now its own brand, Artec Snowboards rather than just the Artec Project by Elan. Here is the press release:
With Elans high tech factory and budget behind them, I think Blaise and the gang are gonna be making some pretty groundbreaking stuff in the near future.
what happened was M3 was giving blaise lots of troubles with wanting to to do a bunch of lawsuits cause the names are to similar so blaise just talked to elan who was making thier boards already. So elan just let them all move to artec, from what i hear they are great decks and its still the great people from M4 that are involved. I heard all this from my friend jake who is on the rookie team so i am not pulling all these facts outta left field
