I've been following the development of this camera since it's inception. This is beyond HD quality. The nearest price of anything comparable is close to $100k. Independent producers are drooling over it. The line was out the door at NAB 2007 just to get a look at it. They won't be able make them fast enough. The RED camera will level the playing field much like Pro Tools and Mac did for music production.
