back in my roadie/wacky tabaccy days I saw the weiner mobile in the middle of some remote highway in Ohio from our bus.Seeing that thing in person under the influence of the death lettuce in the middle of nowhere was amazing.I tried to convince our driver to follow it but he didn't like my idea.and that's my weiner story.the moral is to not smoke that stuff and chase a giant mobile hotdog.and people wonder why they call it dope.

I know I know I've been getting shit for years for driving volvos.the fact is I grew up in em,(you see my pops has a volvo store so it's kind of a given.)But man I love those swedish shit boxes for some reason.

Ooh... I was just at the VW dealer on Colorado Blvd. Dreaming as usual during a weekly Sunday shopping session... so here is my list:
#1: I must have a Volkswagen Phaeton to replace the "German Ski-Doo" (02 Passat 4-motion) we here at Lucid Notion currently rock through the I-70 corridor.
#2: If I were ever allowed a race against Todd on that very corridor...say between DIA-Vail and back, I would be at the helm of an 08 R32!!!!! (Saw three today $32-38K....mmm, tasty!)
#3: Prior to Co-Founding Lucid Notion... I was a part time Valet at some "posh" dining hole for the rich in Cherry Creek / Denver. One day a customer yelled at me for the way I parked his M5.
As he handed me a $20 dollar bill and ranted with a wink about how I only put .10 of a mile on his $70K super sedan well he and his girlfriend enjoyed dinner, he told me he would be back soon and "expected better" service from his Valet.
The next time he parked with me...there were an extra 7.25 miles on his car, tires and brakes still hot when he left... and ton's of stories to tell about the first time I actually "drove" an M5. Needless to say... there is an 2003 M5, six speed on my list!
#4: Toss up: I really want to see if a Land Rover Freelander / LR3 can actually do what my buddys jacked up 4-Runner can do to the Colorado 4X4 trails. That being said, I would love to know what it is like to run down twisty mountain roads at high rates of speed in a Cayman....
I really have a soft spot for cars and no money to buy them... so I'll stick with the "German Ski-Doo" for now. Thanks for allowing me to dream for a moment Todd!!!

I work at my dads vw store here in Socal and we have 3 of the new r32's.We're attempting to sell them for just under 40 thousand and havn't had much more than lookers yet.my point is,limited production or not,the mark ups on those won't be there much longer.for 32 g's it's a killer car.but for 40 I don't know.

My buddy imported a Mini pick-up last year. That thing was so sick. He was doing wind turbine maintenance at the time and would show up pimping in that thing. Check out superfast minis, they have outfitted a truck in the past with the vtec. Crazy stuff.
