this may seem kind of weird, but...

dose anyone know where i can find vegan bindings? almost all bindings ive seen/used have had leather straps, so i was wondering if any company makes bindings with non leather straps? this dose sound stupid, but...

My best advice would be to go with the black snow binders, they are 100% pure petoleum. There are many other old binders that would fit the need your looking for of the same material.

I'm worried about you, what are gonna do when shit goes down, as in a world war here in the states and you have to run to the mountains to survive? My Dad taught me along the ways of the navtive americans just how to do so, and I'm forever grateful for that. I have about the same respect that Tinamarie has about the land, the animals, and habitat that surrounds us - But I think your taking it too far. Anyways, best of luck to you!

Its just doing it right

If the kids gonna be vegan, at least he's doing what he can to not be hypocritical about it. I hate when I see "vegans' wearing leather shoes or belts, or cutting corners on other stuff. Its not a fashion statement. I'm not vegan, but it bums me out when people don't do it for the right reasons. Anything for that matter.

how am i taking it to far?

of course if i was starving id eat meat, but im not. i dont believe slaughter houses are part of natures plan. i dont think a "real" native american would respect what is going down in factory farms.

hahaha, im really not trying to make fun of you, cause i realize thats a legitimate concern to some people, but that is one of the funniest things ive ever seen. it reminds me of that episode of the simpsons, "i'm a level five vegan. i dont eat anything that casts a shadow"

sorry i dont have anything helpful to add. im pretty sure a lot of companies, if not all, use synthetics for theyre straps and pads and whatnot on different models.

Binders Are Not Food!

ahaha.. that is some funny shit.

Good point tho. I used to be a veggie for 5 yrs and have many friends on the Vegan diet. I think it would be cool if TJ Schneider and PETA collaborated on a binder or something. It could actually end up raising money for a good cause.
