Special Blend Outerwear (with a little help from Forum Snowboards) is proud to present First Chair Last Call, a high-def snowboarding film of patterns, pop, and progression. This video is not only fun and approachable, but full of tricks and surprises as the SB team travel amongst the snowboarding arena.
In this week’s installment, we will delve into some behind the scenes photos of the video shoot that took place in Washington at Summit-At-Snowqualmie. With some help from Snowpark Technologies, the resort opened its doors post season to host the Special Blend Team in for a one-of-a-kind park session. The idea here wasn’t to produce the year’s biggest super-kicker, or set world records for spinning, flipping, or a combination of the two combined. This was about fun and creativity, both which will be clearly visible for your pleasure in High Definition.
First Chair Last Call features Travis Kennedy, Joni Malmi, Stevie Bell, Nic Sauve and Daniel Ek in addition to the riding of amateurs Niko Cioffi, Peter Konig and Kareem El Rafie.
The movie will be available, well, sometime between the end of September and the beginning of October. In the United States, First Chair Last Call will be exclusively distributed in the iTunes store for a download price of $1.99 USD. Otherwise, please visit a local Special Blend retailer for a promotional DVD copy.
