Drago wanted me to post pics of my new "used" BMW
Its a 1994 BMW 525i with the M50 vanos variable valve timing motor.
It didnt hurt that it only cost a couple gees!!
Super smooth power and a great touring sedan.
This car is bone stock and gets 24 MPG on the Hwy.
NOw for the older one//...
This is the trusty 1985 325 IE with a lot of happy miles on it.
Mods include a 1991 325I head, cam, valves, springs, intake, chip, 3.73 LSD rear diff, injectors, bilsteins, shirt shift, control arms, high flow 2.75" cat plus custom cat back exhaust. and much more
The 85 325e the last of the over engineered german touring coupe’s. I have extracted available power of the stock ETA motor with conversion components from a 1991 325i!
The Car: 1985 325E 2.79 liter “ETA” motor in Alpine White in good condition roughly 250K on motor odo stopped at 210026
The project was purchased in 2001. The car runs way better than stock and loves the Hwy and higher RPM range.
It is set to idle a bit higher than stock 700 RPM at 1000 RPM so that it is able to bridge the cam timing gap at lower RPM’s with the newer 325i cam setup!
It is quick on the freeway!
