Hey y'All

Hey there Snowboard Mag,
I'm still around and kicking, I'm at Bible College right now, and the internet is all blocked up at the computer labs, so it's a pain to log on to SM. The School is West Coast Bible College in Southern CA(http://www.westcoastbaptist.edu/ don't recall how to make a proper link :/ ). Mountain High is within fifty miles from here, so I'm hoping to hit it a few Saturdays while I'm here, I've met some other boarders as well, so we may get a group going, we'll see. Studies are totally "encompassing" you might say. It's probably because I'm not too smart, but it takes awhile for everything to soak into my brain. We just had Midterms last week, we'll see how I did.

Mt. High
Here's a shot from the Mt.H. web site. Really looking forward to the cold. I understand it's mostly man made snow, but I still can't wait anyway (TBH, man made never really bothered me). I brought my Santa Cruz to school with me, I figure I'll save the Rome for some real snow, last thing I want is turn it into a rock board on one bad day, not worth it!
One of the staff members at the school can pull a backflip. He says "it's not really hard", and will teach me (riiiiiiiiiight.......). I'll be optimistic, but don't know that I'm flipping calibre yet.
Oh, and I lost my camera. Really frustrated about that one, I kinda fell in love with it, it took all the pictures that I've posted up to this point, so I'll have to come up with another one if it doesn't snow up soon.
Outta here, gotta get to memorizing my speech for Thursday, and a big project is due on Friday. Such fun!

BTW: Atomic wings from "The Wing Stop" are really really hot. Can still feel them well over an hour later. Just thought you'd like to know....

Naww, I didn't mean anything by it, no, I don't think I preached. Just saying what new stuff was going on, nothing more, nothing less.

I'm ready to talk about snow anyway.

Anybody on the forum ever hit Mountain High or Bear Valley? Also, did the Mt. High picture come through? I think I forgot how to insert a pix. in a post.

man, tell us more about bible college-for real. i won't lie, i think it is a farse (no disrespect ment), however i am interested in your plight (that sounds kind of religious, and i think i spelled it correctly).

what really goes down at those bible colleges? i used to, um..., 'help' some ladies from these institutions back in the day-extra nasty girls.

Tolerance

This is my humble (simplified) opinion... I'm down w/what ever shows any one love. Any other message that breeds hate, negativity and/or ignorance (i.e., the idea of a 'heaven' or 'hell' outside of this reality, prejudice, injustice, intolerance, power, greed, etc.) is what I am never cool with. I am by no means religious, but I am very spiritual and believe you have the right to find strength in whatever message its provided in as long you are not hurting yourself or anyone else unnecessarily in the process. I understand the destruction organized religion has inflicted on this world and that is only one reason why I do not support it personally, however I try to basically not attach myself to any idea too much.

ps- I know this is touchy waters (religion/politics/etc.), but a difference of opinion can be a wonderful thing- don't hate, share and appreciate! Or not. I am always tempted to get involved when things start getting harsh. I just appreciate the kid sharing and I didn't see him preaching to anyone at all- that was the fire we started in our replies to his blog. Eye-wink

mother fuckers, i went o to g-town (a jesuit institution)-it's a FUCKING SHAM....the more you travel, the more you read (besides your bible) the more 'you will see/experience' the damage that religion has done to this planet; would you like me to list the current world conflicts caused religion or are you still in denial that the polar caps have melted by 23% since three years ago?
