November 1, 2007 – Forum Snowboards and Special Blend Outerwear are pleased to announce the addition of John Jackson to the two respective teams.

According to Bryan Knox, Forum and Special Blend’s Team Director, “Its not like any justification is needed as to why we’re excited about John Jackson, but for the sake of a press release, well, please read the next paragraph.”

John Jackson has brown hair and blue eyes. He is single (yeah, ladies) and enjoys fishing, tying flies, and bake sales. Additionally, he is an insanely talented, dedicated snowboarder who understands what it means to have the word Forum underneath his feet and Special Blend across his chest.

For outerwear and accompanying softgoods, Jackson joins the existing Special Blend team of Joni Malmi, Travis Kennedy, Stevie Bell, as well as recently appointed team riders Nic Sauve and Daniel Ek.

On the Forum front, according to Knox, the addition of Jackson “really rounds shit out, ” as he becomes a part of the renowned Forum team: Peter Line, Joni Malmi, Eddie Wall, Travis Kennedy, Pat Moore, Jake Blauvelt, Stevie Bell, Jake Welch, as well as the recent additions of up-and-comers Nic Sauve and Daniel Ek.

Work has begun on a John Jackson 158cm pro-upgrade Forum board that will be shown during the upcoming SIA and ISPO shows. Until then, Jackson will be strapping into a Seeker Board and Arena Bindings, as filming for a Forum video gets underway.

According to Jackson, “To be part of something like this, that is so together and established, is like a dream come true. You know, you’re either Forum or Against’em.”
