Killington was a last minute addition to the First Chair Last Call tour but you would have never known with the solid turn out of early-morning riders in line for the 9 a.m. opener.

With temperatures well below freezing, high winds and snowfall locals Jake Caggie, McGregor Mangan, Jenny Smith and Tivon Jagoda camped out, in a not-so-weather proof tent to get First Chair, or gondola, at Killington Friday November 16.

These kids came out hoping they’d get some free stuff…and they did. Everyone who walked through the K1 maze before noon got some SPECIAL BLEND goodies. Come out to the stop nearest you to see for yourself!

To celebrate the winter season, and opening day, many a shred could be found at Outback Pizza, the Last Call spot. First Chair winner Jenny Smith was propped behind the bar serving drinks, and was still able to enjoy her Last Call herself.
