60 inches bitches!!! Right from the start I just want to thank Davey Pitcher and the entire Wolf Creek staff for hosting one of the most incredible weekends of snowboarding ever!!!

I was having lunch at the top of Aspen Mountain with Colin Langlois when we got on the weather topic. Everyone was super excited about the snow that was tracking in on the radar. 3 feet they were claiming was going to set CO just right with a nice fat front coming in from the south. Wait a minute here, the south you say? Well hell, I can only think of one place I would rather be on a southern swell in Rado. As soon as I got home I saw on NOAA that Wolf Creek was about to get slammed by 30 inches Friday night. As I pushed my eyeballs back in my head I grabbed my phone to get long time Wolf Creek local Justin Bartle on the celly. And without any coaxing at all we were packed up and out the door in true storm chaser fashion.
Lets just say that you haven't driven shit till you white knuckle it over Red Mountain Pass or Wolf Creek Pass in total blizzard blizzard conditions.

We arrived Saturday morning to an empty parking lot, 50 mile an hour winds, 30 inches of heavy snow and total downpour of snow. This is what we came for, winter was in full effect and it was all for the soul today.
