Venture Snowboard's Season Kickoff Party on December 8th just happen to coincide with Silverton Mountain's "Official" opening day. Silverton planned to open last weekend but over 80 inches of snow in the past week caused the opening to be delayed. The morning of the party everyone was treated to 2 feet of fresh at one of Colorado's premier mountains for steeps. That afternoon Venture hosted a VIP party with free beer courtesy of Ska Brewing for retailers and Silverton Mtn. employees at the downtown factory. Once the beer was sucked dry the party moved to the Pride Of The West Saloon for more drinks and live music from In A Day and the Freeman Social. Prizes were raffled, booze was downed, skin was shown, and everyone had a good time while watching the snow continue to come down!
