Mighty Midwest Snowboard Camp Tour

12/30/2007 - 9:00am
12/31/1969 - 4:00pm

Pat Milbery and the majority of the Forecast Snowboard Crew grew up in lovely Middle America, and will have Midwest pride until the day they die. So what better way to spend more time at home than planning an entire Midwest Tour this winter titled THE MIGHTY MIDWEST SNOWBOARD CAMP.

Boulder, Co, Dec. 9, 2007 -- INFO_ At each stop on the map there will be a camp. The camp will consist of two days of riding, interacting, and hanging out with each local community and the Forecast_ team. On the second day, in the afternoon, we will provide what we like to call a PROGRESSION SESSION. A rider's session similar to a contest style/event but less emphasis on the contest and more on THE FUN! The PROGRESSION SESSION offers the kids/adults a chance to apply the skills they just recently learned, build their confidence along with providing the kids and parents an opportunity to evaluate their progression. Sponsors are HOOKING IT UP for the TOUR, get ready for some sweet PRIZES awarded for most creative, most improved, most consistent, best style and best overall shredder

"I am a strong believer in kids believing in themselves, and it is really hard to do as a teenager, so the camp should help each camper become more comfortable with their level of riding as well as their self-confidence."

– Pat Milbery

Forecast Snowboards is also a strong believer in being environmentally conscious and friendly with the community! So, they will be traveling across the Midwest only using Biodiesel fuel, and riding only on all natural PURL wax. Also to give back to the community at every stop, they will be encouraging campers to bring at least one non perishable food item, and the Forecast team will be going to local shelters to donate the food. So, let's have some fun!

Sponsors to include: Forecast Snowboards, Purl Wax, Skull Candy, 32 Boots, Spacecraft,Flux Bindings, LRG, POW Gloves,Von Zipper, Zumiez and So Gnar!
