As MC Pat Bridges called him, "Snowboarding's Prodigal Son" Shaun White threw down another picture perfect halfpipe run to win the first stop of the Grand Prix in Breck over the weekend. A last minute entry into the contest proved to be enough, as Shaun dominated the field of contest regulars like Steve Fisher, Louie Vito and Kier Dillon once again. Shaun had a good time hanging out in Breck all week, and was seen out and about with none other than SNOWBOARD Kits girl Stoked Spicoli.

If there's one thing you can count on in Breck in December, it's cold weather. Temps over the weekend barely made it out of the single digits, and everyone was bundled up tight. Shaun doing his best to stay warm with some hot cocoa.

After the comp we headed over to the newly opened Peak 10 and found the monster shack in the woods. This place is a palace! Breck is pretty much good to go right now with all the spots filling in. Another big storm and it's on...go check it out! Special thanks to Breckenridge for all their hard work on pulling off the first major contest of the year.
