Snowboardinng in Canada

Hello everyone.
I am a german student studying abroad in michigan/usa.
I want to go snowboarding in Canada because it is not possible in michigan.
Does anybody know which are the best snowboard places in Ontario, Quebec or Manitoba?
Other places like Alberta are a little bit too far :)

So if anybody know a place which is good for snowboarding and is within 16-20 driving hours by car from Ann Arbor (Michigan)/usa, please write!!!!!!!!

Thank you very much

The closest place of signific

The closest place of significance would be Searchmont in Sault Ste Marie, ON, which borders michigan at the town of the same name..

Your next best bet would be to go to Blue Mountain, a couple hours away from Toronto.

Even a little farther than that, would be to head out between ottawa and montreal, with mt tremblant. If you're a park rat, go to montreal and hit up mont saint sauveur/mont avila - home of one of the best parks in Quebec and the Empire Shakedown contest.

If you're looking for nightlife, i'd suggest tremblant no. 1, then saint sauveur because montreal is fairly close.

Hope this helps.

dude

I'm pretty sure michigan has a lot of places to go snowboarding. There are like 20 resorts, a lot of them are probably open. They are small and nothing like you'd see back at home in europe, but you won't have to drive any more than 8 hours from ann arbor, more like 3 or 4. If you drive to the upper peninsula of michigan i think they've got some bigger mountains up there. Besides if you go up to canada, everything will be more expensive cause of the weak US dollar

unless..

You're underage in the USA - Legal drinking age in Ontario is 19, and it's 18 in Quebec. (assuming you wanna partake in those kinds of activities)
