SALT LAKE CITY, UT – The 2007 annual Celtek sales meeting kicked off with a bang at Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort in Utah. Mother nature responded to the Celtek Clan’s secret snow dance unloading a fresh foot of pow that coincided nicely with the opening of the resort. The Celtek North American sales team flew in from across the U.S. and Canada and posted up in Salt Lake City, Utah for a 4-day shredding experience with the Celtek team and staff.

Mule and Bjorn Snowbird thumbs up.
Celtek Co-founder and President, Erik “Mule” Leines, along with Co-founder and Marketing Director Bjorn Leines, unveiled the highly anticipated 08-09 Celtek line. Also in attendance was Celtek’s designer, Dave Doman, who said, “This is the most complete, fun, and technically progressive Celtek collection yet!”

The meeting kicked off with an intense boxing match where The Mule (representing Celtek) squared of against Midwest transplant Jon Spiris (“the competition”). After a fierce onslaught of punches and low blows from “the competition”, the Mule A.K.A. “Celtek” ended the battle with a knock out at the end of round one. “The competition came out swinging hard!” said The Mule, “but my trainer Bjorn and I put together a solid strategy, and we stuck to it giving us the win!” The moral of the story: roll with the punches.

Meeting Deadlung.
Celtek pro team riders Stevie Bell, Aaron Biittner, Mark “Deadlung” Edlund, Forrest Shearer and Justin Bennee represented at the meeting and were treated to 3 nights’ lodging at The Cliff Lodge near the base of the resort, complements of Snowbird. “It was awesome to be able to wake up, walk out and shred The Bird!” said Stevie Bell. “Thanks a lot to Snowbird for the love.”

CELTEK rep Bryan Johnson Ping Pong.
After numerous laps on the chairlift, team dinners and meetings, Celtek wrapped up the weekend with a party at Bjorn’s house to celebrate with The Clan. “I think that we successfully achieved our goals of the meeting,” said Bjorn, “we showed our new line and wore out the reps with all the fun of the weekend, mission accomplished!”

Celtek would like to personally thank all the reps, riders, and staff in attendance for all of their hard work and support! A special THANK YOU goes out to Laura Schaffer and Dave Fields at Snowbird Resort for their continued support.
