step it up

So I'm not staff at snowboard-mag, but it seems I can comment here, so ....I'd check out a CAPiTA Stairmaster 144 or CAPiTA Stairmaster 148. It really depends on what size foot you have. Are you a smaller person or are you a medium to larger size that wants a shorter jib board. The Ride Kink comes in a 147 and Burton Blunts come in a 142 and 147. All of these boards are less than $350 new.

Word up

Thanks for the extra info.

Well...

You have a lot of options here. Pretty much every board company has a REALLY flexible board in their line. 144 might be slimming out a few options, but here's what I like for getting my press on:

Rome Artifact: Buttery goodness. Soft, yet springy tip to tail, but very soft torsionally.

K2 WWW (World Wide Weapon): The smaller sizes run fairly narrow, which might help you. You didn't leave any size info about yourself, so we're shooting in the dark here. The WWW is also a pretty soft board, and easy to get used to. If you're on the lighter side, it would work all over the park for you.

Lib Banana: Lib doesn't make a Skate Banana in a 144, but they do make a model called the Box Scratcher in a 144. It's got rocker just like the Banana. Super fun.

Ride Kink: Buttery smooth and skate board-like. Lotsa fun.

Nitro also makes a T1 in your range. Great all-around park board. Softer for jibbing, and stiffer for jumps. It's just right.

I see you have posted in another thread about the Capita Stairmaster and Forum Manual. The Manual has a more "solid" feel than the rest of these boards. A bit stiffer, and needs to be ridden with a bit more authority. I personally haven't ridden a Stairmaster, but I have heard great things about that deck. I love the name, too. Kind of says it all.

Hope that helps. They are just a few off the top of the head. Keep us up to date with what you're looking at, considering and end up buying. Happy shopping!
