Does anyone else have this problem?

whenever i ride for a couple days, or sometimes even just one (usually if i'm hitting bigger jumps) my boots start to kill my shins and they seem to get bruised or something making it more painful to ride for days after. Anyone experienced this or have any solutions? Thanks

that happened

to me really really bad with my 32s i think it just has to do with the way certain boots fit some will fit you good others may seem good but then hurt your shins like a bitch, i have burton boxers now and haven't had the problem anymore

i have had this for years with new boots

this has worked for me: cut horizontal slts in the tonge of the boot, this can add some flexability in the boot and may alieviate some of the issue. make sure that you only cut through the foam not all the way through the tonge. hope this helps as it has helped me in the past.

thanks. it's from my shins hi

thanks. it's from my shins hitting against the front of the boot. it only hurts it that one spot. as of now i'm riding some forum kickers although i'm using them just cus my 32 primes(which are sick) do it even worse.

...

Sounds like shin splints to me too. It'a a common problem for runners but I guess a few hard days of riding could cause it.I've personally never experienced that much irritation from any boots I've had.

shin splints

sounds like shin splints to me

can get worse if not looked after, check out wikipedia the font of all knowledge and maybe see a doctor/physio
