Its Official. Snowboarding has completely lost its soul. Snowboarding is the new skiing. Nice outfits those uber pros were rockin. What an F-ing joke.
You know like the ones in Mack Dawg movies? Throw them pros a curveball every now and then.
yeh it also lost its soul when u end up typing useless feelings over the internet instead of riding.
like what you just did in posting this?
i kinda feeling that too...the slope style was just so stock...rail, rail, table, table, table, table and thats it? no hips or anything innovative...i was disappointed in the big air too only because it looks like they "stole" the jump from benedek and the gap sessions...winter x just didnt wow me in any way...
i heard from a two plank buddy of mine that the course was designed by one of the skiers that was competing, cause hes some hot shot park designer in europe. apparently the guys only good at tables, so he loaded it up with tables and rails that could be hit like tables
it was designed by snopark technologies and was limited to the size of the run that buttermilk gave them. the course was very fun and probably the best yet for the x games.
..im sure riders would have preferred the jump line to be more similar to the vail session last year, it seemed the riders definately couldn't ride to their full potenial because the jumps were so close together. I also found the course to be pretty bland and boring, maybe a couple more rails up top would have been a bit more interesting
thats what i get for listening to a snowler blader
But Jon Olsson knows how to build a jump so i wouldnt say thats a bad thing:

now i just dont know what to believe
I thought it was the best course they have done
