this is what's wrong with snowboarding...

rode yesterday at Sierra at Tahoe. 6-10" fresh snow on the runs, 2-3' in the trees. Partly cloudy skies. Very few people on the mountain. If you knew where to go, you could spend the whole day getting fresh tracks (and we did) and yet, theres was still guys hiking a FLAT BOX in the park! on a powder day! WHAT...THE...FUCK?!?!?! please tell me I'm not alone on this one...

Park Pow

Here at the Beav, 1st tracks thru Zoom Room Park take you to some great terrain. And to be honest the only time I have maned up to try new tricks in the park have been on.... Powder Days, makes the falls a little softer. But agreed Hiking the park on a Pow day is a little much

Don't kill yourself over people hiking, your rant isn't going to stop them. You have no reason to complain... plus, its more fresh if you let them hike.

true... but its not that big of a deal. if park rats just want to hit park on pow day, the more power to them. what's actually wrong with snowboarding is much larger than this, let me assure you.

But these kids hiking the park aren't what's wrong with snowboarding. People like you... who incessantly bitch and whine about shit that doesn't affect them and is none of their business... are what's wrong with snowboarding.

you've got a point. i love riding park, or jibbing shit as much as the next man, but i do see that as snowboarding going in the wrong direction. if they want to ride park, it leaves more snow for me. i'm just commenting on the ridiculousness of hiking a box in the park on a day like that....

I understand where yr coming from but some people just really like riding park lol likeme but yeah i live in maryland and when we get good snow i try to take advantage of it. Yeah...who cares what the fuck anyone else is doing just ride whatever u want lol
