What an awesome few weeks it has been for 20-year-old Kevin Pearce! Just in the last week, there have been tradeshows going on in Vegas and Munich, the Winter X Games, and a 5-Star TTR Quarterpipe event in Austria. We've all been a little busy, but lets take a second to look back on Kevin's amazing run in the last few weeks:
This all started off less than two weeks ago at the Burton European Open in Laax, Switzerland. With his last run, Kevin knocked the flying tomato, Shaun White into second place to take his first pipe win of the year!
As soon as he picked up his check from the European Open, Kevin hopped on a plane to the X Games. He rode three different courses in one day, taking home the Silver medal in the Slopestyle, a 2nd place finish in the Big Air, and then qualified for the Halfpipe finals. The next evening, the Halfpipe finals were struck with heavy winds and lots of snowfall, but Kevin managed to pull together a solid run and left with a Bronze medal there as well. Three "top 3" finishes in two days is pretty good for most, but it didn't stop there for Kevin...

While most of us peons either headed to Vegas for SIA or to Munich for ISPO, Kevin headed to Innsbruck, Austria for the Billabong 5-star TTR event where he took home yet another win, catapulting himself to the #2 spot on the TTR World rankings.
To top it off, Kevin also took home the Transworld Readers Choice Award at the 9th annual Transworld Snowboarding Awards in Las Vegas. Kevin was busy winning the TTR at that time, but managed to accept his award through a live video feed via Europe.

Up next is the Toyota Big Air in Japan, followed by the Artcic Challege in Norway, both of which Kevin won last year! Keep your fingers crossed for a couple more big wins from Kevin.
