This year the Session was moved back to Feb with the hopes of warmer temps and getting the pros to come after competing in the X-Games. Well it never fails to be cold for this nightime event.

The Ladies started things off Friday night with solid runs from Molly Aguiree who ended up taking 1st place and winning the Malay award, $6,500 for a nights work not to bad. Gabi Viteri went huge on the hip setting the mark for the guys.

The mens event had Canadian Chas Guldemond ripping the course, he was super smoth and was going off. Local rider Ricky Rodriquez stoked the crowd and Mike Casanova won the Malay award for the second time. Josh would be stoked on the MN connection.

Saturday night Torstein Horgmo thru down a solid run, Swith 9, FS 9, Switch 10, FS 12, I think.. Anyways it was solid and I thought he won the comp with that. Not to discredit Andreas Wiig the winner of the slopestyle who alos had a solid run. And Chas went for the 14?? Nice job. The course was really fun this year and the new setup was great for the fans and filmers alike. Until next year.
