Event Presented by Lost Energy Drink and ThirtyTwo at Bear Mountain Draws JP Walker, Simon Chamberlain and Leanne Pelosi

February 19, 2007 (Lake Forest, CA) – Today etnies announced the starting five for the Goofy and Regular teams in the etnies GvR Snow Finals on February 23, 2008 at Bear Mountain. The unique team-based format of GvR Snow pits Transworld Snowboarding’s Regular Footed riders against FUEL TV’s Goofy Footed riders, with each team appointing a team captain.

The starting five pro snowboarders appointed by Kurt Hoy, captain of the Regular Team and editor-in-chief of Transworld Snowboarding, include:

* Austin Smith
* Joe Sexton
* JP Walker
* Markku Koski
* Robbie Walker

Representing FUEL TV, Director John Stouffer, team captain for the Goofy Team, selected the following snowboarders for his starting five in the finals:

* Kurt Wastell
* Louis Vito
* Ryan Thompson
* Simon Chamberlain
* Chris Bradshaw

Sanctioned by World Cup Snowboarding, etnies GvR Snow has invited more than 70 of the top professional snowboarders from around the world to compete for $50,000. Over 8,000 people are expected to attend and the contest will be webcast live from the etnies GvR website at http://gvr.etniessnow.com.

Immediately following the contest, Ghostface Killah, an original member of Wu-Tang Clan, will be performing at the base of Bear Mountain on the sun deck!
