useless dmv poll #1 : drive i-5 in ca in rain or i70 in co while dumping snow....

i would rather drive i 70 with no headlights and a sh!tty defroster than i-5 in san diego with drizzle. i swear peeps here have no concept of traction.

ps im sitting at the dmv now

The 5 definately sucks but I think the 330 on a sunday afternoon takes the cake.Or the 330 after a snowstorm.My fav is when people put chains on the wrong wheels and wonder why they dont work.

well....

i drove on the i5 in the rain today, although it wasn't in san diego. i'd pick colorado though considering the only reason i'd probably be there is for boarding... and my volvo v70 is a beast. and yeah dude, so many shitty southern cal drivers. honda pos's weaving in and out of traffic without turning signals.

I-5 north is a bii..

I'll take CO (although the view on the 5 is worth puttin up with em).

Cali kids never seem to amaze.. 5 ft behind a SEMI in their Ford Focus on a rainy day- hmm, lets ponder that one. 330 comin south on a Sunday afternoon is also another lovely one..

How bout I-80W at SR267 in an 89 VW Cabrio on a snowy afternoon w/a sheet of sand/mud over the windshield (thankfully tossed there by the plow) and no wiper fluid controls? Trust me, its a loovely time.

So what number are you now Todd- 4,576?? Good call on the e-book..

Bored?

So, I just read that a few times, and a few things occurred to me.

A. You're in the DMV in SoCal...the one worse place to be than actually on the I-5

B. We all know that the 405 is way worse.

c. What's traction.

D. Are you poaching the DMV's WiFi on the iPhone, or using minutes?

I miss LA.

I've never driven on the I-70 but I would definitely rather drive that while its dumping snow than the I-5. People can't drive here when its nice and sunny. A little drizzle worsens it by 500%.

Seriously I rather drive the 70 with a coat of frozen vaseline and tires made of DOC MARTEN soles on it than the 5 anytime during rush hour.

I'll take I-70, at least people in CO can drive whether its snow or not. Driving on I-5 in Cali is dangerous.

Being at the DMV definitely sucks.
