The Vans slope style event went down earlier today at Northstar claiming some but catapulting others to podium status including reigning champ and coincidentally Vans pro Andreas Wiig to first place honors. Andreas threw down in seamless Wiig fashion shedding out all the other rippers such as Heikki Sorsa, Mason Aguirre, and Chas Guldemond. Aguirre snatched second riding close to perfection every run.

The day started out shitty with cold, windy, snowy weather but turned out semi-warm and sunny in true Tahoe notoriety. Cheryl Mass killed it for the ladies grabbing 1st place honors after a 3rd place win in the rail jamey jam last night.
