Interview by Scotty the Body

What can I say about Johnny Lazz? The kids crazy! Not in a harmful or out of control way, just in the ultra stoked, over the top, wild kid who wants to get in as much trouble as possible. He is the biggest LIL Wayne fan in the world, survives off of candy, and can throw down on his snowboard. Keep it up Lil Lazzy.

Name: full-Johnny -not Jonathan- Alfred Lazzareschi
What people call me? Johnny Lazz
Age: 16 years young
Sponsors: Rome, Volcom ,Dakine, Neff, and Butterbox
Home Mountain: Northstar-At-Tahoe

SC: Yo bro, so tell us some history about how you got into shredding? Your Sister is also a good shredder, did you guys start together?

JL: Umm, I got into it when I was 10, I was mad young and my brother snowboarded so I just wished as a lil brother that I could do the same. The next year my parents got me lined up for some rentals. Always the best quality snowboard equipment, ha. I got on my board and haven’t got off since.

SC: To bad for you! Haha, so you base outta Tahoe, would you live anywhere else?

JL: Right now, I am loving Tahoe because of the mountains, snow, and it’s my home. I have lived in Tahoe my whole life and people are always telling me how lucky I am to live here. I see myself in a couple of years holding down my grid in Carnelian Bay, North Lake Tahoe.

SC: Whats it like riding for ROME?

JL: Rome was my first sponsor and has been only my snowboard sponsor and I have been happy from the beginning. I love everyone that works there and the relationships we have, even if you take a tazor to my ass about 5 times in a one day (John Graham, Rome rep.). But yeah its great, they take care of me, and I am just anxious for they're next movie coming out next season, "No Correct Way".

SC: So you have done some good stuff in contests so far, tell us about your wins?

JL:
Yeah I have been doing alright. I have podiumed about 5 times this years, 3 wins. I won the Coup De'Shred at Northstar this year and they gave me a Kicker $1,000 dollar car audio system gift card and I don't have a license or a car yet, but soon. Haahaa

SC: Have you been filming as well?

JL: Filming has been one of my priorities this season. I have been filming with the REELcomp.com crew, mostly with Tim Bradley. We just made a mid season edit, turned out to be about 3 minutes long. We have gone all over North Lake Tahoe filming, but we just got back from a trip down south in Bear for the Active BroDown ShowDown. REELcomp webcasted it live.

I went down there with Taylor Carelton (2nd Place) and Shane Fortier (1st place). They killed it but besides that it was a great trip and I am glad North Tahoe podiumed at Bear.

SC: So what are your plans for the rest of the year? Any trips on the horizon?

JL: I’m not sure yet, its all up in the air until I hear about one coming up. Most likely do some lil filming trips till the snow is gone.

SC: So that wraps ‘er up who you thankin?

JL: HEY! I be thankin' my sponsors, all my homies in Tahoe that are holding it down and Scotty the Body, ha!
