The team got the word from ex-Ride Snowboards pro Jim Hale, he had a new stash that had to be checked out. Located in Ride's backyard, just 2 hours away in Scenic, WA and across the street from Stevens Pass is the Cascade Powder Cats operation, the hottest thing to come out of the Seattle area next to an extra hot Starbucks americano!

Needless to say we had to get up and check it out for ourselves so David Aubry and Am team riders Austin Hironaka and Corey Noble made the trip and had nothing but good things to report. We spent two days scouting out all the insane terrain with one day of snow and one day of sun. CPC is outfitted with a sweet yurt that sleeps 12 so you know we had to utilize this little smokey gem and what better way to wake up on a powder day then at the top of the mountain... That's right nothings better!

The crew and guides at CPC are awesome and with its proximity to Seattle its very accessible, affordable and worth every turn. So if your looking for a new snowboard adventure check it out and we might just have to join you up there!

Slip n' Slime Video
On January 26th Ride Snowboards was the presenting sponsor of the Primetime Slip N Slime at the Blue Mountain Village in Collingwood Ontario. The event hosted some of the best local riders in southern Ontario showing off in front of a crowd of 5,000 people. Ride Team riders included Morgan Parker, Eric Brown, Brad Gauley, Mac Smith, Tyler Ashby and holding it down for Cappel, Danielle Brown.
Ride Snowboards pro rider Andrew Hardingham also made an appearance as a Special guest MC leaving the crowd in stitches with his rider interviews, running commentary and blue zink war paint!
At the end of the night Ride team rider Eric Brown took home best trick and Cappel team rider Danielle Brown placed in the top 3 for the ladies!
A huge thanks goes out to our friends at EventSing for putting the whole thing together!
