Boning The Hole...Near Jackson Hole

Grenade Film Update 3

2008-03-20 - It all started on a Friday. This was no ordinary Friday at Grenade, this Friday we closing our doors, turning off our phones, gassing up our trucks and loading them with supplies. We needed help to drive to Wyoming overnight after finding out there was a terrorist weather pattern heading towards the Wyoming/Idaho area. So I hired mercenaries, Sketchy D and Grenade's "John Wayne", Brian Regis, they were more than eager to step up to the mission; battling the deep snow and harsh driving conditions. Once we arrived we rendezvoused with another platoon that were a short jaunt behind our war party. We knew things were going to get heavy when Sgt. Slater himself arrived with his new Super HD09 16mm Assault Cam packed with double mags and 400' of firepower per clip. We scouted a place to set up camp near the action. We needed to rest for the shredding ahead.

The weather was looking good the first day as we rushed to the frontline meeting up with Gabe Taylor and Kyle Clancy. They joined the crew, we were ready for action.

The snow was insane. We were all taking laps and getting to feel the snow and it felt good. Here's a photo of me launching backside over this rock.

Danny Kass backside 360 over a rock.

After I landed I got to the bottom and watched Gabe drop into this rocky shot with no way out but down. Not much room for error here and he didn't make any getting another day to shred again.

Grenade Film Update 4
Gabe shooting the Chute.

When the storm got to gnarly, we had to bring in Brian "John Wayne" Regis to finish the battle. He stomped thwarting the storms plan to keep us grounded.

Grenade Film Update 5
The Duke, Brian Regis mid method hellstorm.

After seeing these shots through the lens, Sgt. Slater was proud of his troops. We called it a day and headed back to camp to refuel for the next day.

Grenade Film Update 6
What a Flute, Jared Slater Stoked!

We awoke to find that the storm had been overbearing and even Slater's expertise could not get a precise shot. We sent Gabe out on a reconnaissance mission to find out what was going on behind enemy lines. Meanwhile at camp, I broke out this mean snurfer and made a wicked gap ollie in the eye of the storm. What does tomorrow hold? I can only wait and see.

Grenade Film Update 2
