The weatherman in Boise predicted rain for the morning of March 8th, and rain it did. But shortly after 11:00 am the clouds cleared up and the sun shone down on the Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour setup.

With the sounds of DJ Wiki filling up the union lawn and the course ready, students poured into the union lawn curious to see what local riders and fellow classmate shredders had to show. As is par for the course MC Chimp T started the jam off with an original bang and a count down to the first drop.
The crowd was dripping with anticipation—not rain—and the pressure and excitement from the thousands on hand inspired some serious jibs from all the riders on the fresh clean snow from Bogus Basin.

Scion showed their support with a fleet of pimped out rides, and Cricket Wireless had a host of prizes to hand out to onlookers which included text to wins for a jacket with stupendous bluetooth capabilities and a cell phone with a complementary unlimited plan. A snowboard and cash was also awarded to the top men's rider, complements of Forecast Snowboards. More paraphernalia from companies like Spyder, Clif Bar, Giro, Civil Apparel, and M(t) Theory gave the crowd a reason to keep cheering by handing out thousands of dollars worth of the freshest swag the sport has to offer. There was even an opportunity for females in the audience to text in to win a date with Galvanic, photographer Drew Diehl. However, the winning lady failed to show to drink unlimited Red Bull vodkas at the Galvanic after party, nonetheless, this did not detract from the day's event.

Logan Fuquai came out from Mt. Hood to guest judge the incredible riding that went down. Highlights include 7 year-old skier Carson St Pierre who pressed the down box which stood almost as tall as he did and won the Cricket Crowd Pleaser Award.

Runner up went to DC rider Shaun Daley with a front blunt through the down flat and gap 270 over the last section of the massive down flat down. When it came down to it, it was Forecast rider Andrae Cameron who took best rider overall laying down a ridiculously steezy back-180 on, switch nose,180 out on the down flat down.

The female riders put on a show with a close competition in the finals between Nadine Berry and Erin Cecil, with Nadine sticking it on the kink during her last run. To add to the entertainment, Buster the Bronco (Boise State's mascot) took 3 valiant attempts at conquering the down flat down rail.
