Boreal put on the Final Showdown, the last of the years Expression Sessions, and they brought out something extra special for the event. With $5 entry and a free cook-out to enjoy, no one was left unfulfilled. The Battle Arena featured an 18' quarterpipe, elevated bench ride, slanted box wall ride, and hip facing left.
This definitely gave riders plenty of options to explore.
The landscape was beautiful as riders waited for the snow to firm up, and once it did people were ready to throw down. Everyone picked up the pace and nothing was left untouched. LittleB gapped from the quarter to disastering the box wallride. Nothing like a big old blunt stall 10 feet in the air on the bench to get the crowd motivated. Spectators lined the arena as rider after rider went to town on what was definitely a fun setup.
When the sun finally set, bellies were full of red meat, and the night was over, boards were given to their rightful winners. This is the place where that can be called a riders mountain.
