Rome artifact with bronze edges

I need a new new board for park and street and was thinking about getting a rome artifact. I love idea of a soft nose and tail on the board, which will help in buttering but I also read that the bronze edges will get destroyed in no time on rails and street.
Does anyone know if the 2006-2007 models of Rome artifact are almost same as this years model (Hustlin) but with steel edges? Are there other boards out there which are comparable in performance to the rome artifact?

the 06/07 is pretty much the exact same except for graphics and edges. Almost every single board company out there makes a board like the artifact, true twin jib boards arn't hard to come by, the artifact is probably one of the better ones out though.

jib shreds!

if you want the most buttery fun to ride board with bombproof edges check the Smokin MIP coming out this fall. its super flexy but still has crazy pop to it. Also the magne traction edges makes it so you can bevel up your edges 4-5 degrees for rails, or just round em over and still get great control, without any catch! best of both worlds. And it has a 3 year warranty, only jib board on the market being backed that hard. Irode this board all this year and have never been more stoked on all around performance, esecially since I usually buy stiff for jumping which makes jibbing whack. This was the first super soft board I owned and it is LEGIT!
