Kingvale Terrain Project's 1st Sunset Showdown went down on Friday night and went off without a hitch and some sick shredding. As the sun set on the wild west of snowboard parks, the KTP crew set up a sick park with multiple lines for a laid back jam contest that was once again a super fun session at Kingvale Terrain Project. The contest was two hours long and was packed with sick tricks, amazing riders, and some Pro Snowboarders out to enjoy the evening at Kingvale. Judged by the KTP Crew, Shawn Durst, Pat Lee, Lane Knaack, and Day Franzen. Here's a look at the action.

Pat was throwing tail blocks and sick wall rides everywhere. It looked like he was having a great time for sure.

It was a great success at the first of three Sunset Showdowns at Kingvale. I want to thank everyone involved with the event including the crew at Kingvale, Day Franzen, 5150, Ride Snowboards, MFM, Technine and everyone that came out for a sick session and a great evening at Kingvale. The event was how contests should be... laid back shredding with your friends on a unique setup in a great
atmosphere.
For the next two weeks there will be Sunset Showdowns at Kingvale on Friday at 5:30-8:00. Come on out and enjoy the BBQ and the snowboarding. No doubt a great time.
