IdiomLife.com Finally Launched!

hey everyone. so i've been working my ass off to get my new site launched, and i've finally done it. go check it out and let me know what you think. i know most the content is a bit old (or really really old) but now that all the frame work is completed i'll finally have some time to get more up to date content on there, and even though the content is dated it's probably new to you, so at least it's a fresh read even if the topics are a old.

i've done all the work on this beast myself, from concept to completion, so undoubtedly there may be some issues with the site, if you come across one please let me know about. there are even more features that i'm currently in the process of developing (like comment capabilities, rss feeds, etc.) so make sure to enlist on the homepage for updates and keep checking back.

one of the big features i'm looking to develop is the link directory (LINKS.). So if you know of links that i've missed, find a broken link, or need help finding the site of a company; let me know about them through the Request.Submit.Report. tab on the links page. the form is painless, it's all ajax (meaning the page doesn't need to reload).

Messaging error

Hey TM-

I tried to reply but received a "Recipient does not exist" error. I think it might be due to the tradmark symbol after your user name TM�. You might try to msg yourself to see if eliminating the trademark symbol at the end of your name will help.

Eliminating the ™ will solve the problem. Unfortunately, when you add symbols to the name, it causes an error and does not allow you to receive messages.

spell check

not trying to call you out in front of everybody, but you spelled website wrong in the header graphic for your "top 5 websites" piece. you have it as W-E-S-B-I-T-E-S. kind of ironic, considering the tone of the article Smiling

thanks for finding that. 16 hours a day of coding and design kinda scrambles the mind. kind of ironic... kind of... but i'm not really calling out anyone on their content. just design and coding. just wait till i do the 5 worst sites, then you'll see where the tone comes from. haha.

thanks again for finding that, i'm sure there's more. and i'll be the first to admit my content is only so-so. i am not good at writing copy. but for now i'm the only one around to do it for my site. maybe some people will come forth that would like to help contribute?
