The World Ski and Snowboard Festival, better known as the Telus festival, just came to a wrap last week. If you have never been you need to go, plenty of live music, ladies, cougars, liquor, food, clubs, events and plenty of hanging out at the incredible Whistler village. Let me just begin by saying thank you to Bryan Pilbeam from the Crystal Lodge Hotel in the Whistler Village, www.crystal-lodge.com , by far the best place to stay while visiting Whistler. It is located in the heart of the Village and steps from the hill. Also big shout out to Lisa Richardson from Watermark Communications. O.K. Back to the Telus, well the SNOWBOARD Mag crew with the help of Shaun Hughes got the party rolling last Saturday night at Garfs. The night started off with a huge line outside and unless you had a pass or some good greesing tactics you were not getting in. My boy Yos, Bouncer at Garfs got popped but he held his ground and got the crowd back under control. After everyone was in the Coors Lite was flowing and the tunes were pumping. Plenty of booze, girls, and homies = a good party. Thank you to our sponsors, 686, Spy Optics, Coors Lite, K2, and New Era.
