And The Winner Is...

Spy Boat Giveaway 1

Spy Optic and SNOWBOARD Mag would like to congratulate John Hyatt of Corona, CA as the lucky winner of a 2007 Super Air Nautique Team Edition boat. Spy and SNOWBOARD Mag teamed up to grant one lucky magazine subscriber this $70,000 boat—all for simply signing up for the mag. Spy’s Liz Randall and Aaron Grace presented this insane prize to our winner in Carlsbad Lagoon over the weekend. According to John, “I thought it was a hoax and none of my friends could believe I won such a great boat. I almost couldn’t believe it myself until I received the release of liability contract from Liz.”

With legal documents in hand, the boat was officially signed over to John. In fact, John was so stoked on the boat, he went out and purchased a brand new Ford Expedition just so he had enough power to tow the boat home. John was rocking a Nissan Xterra, but that unfortunately wasn’t beefy enough to get the boat out of the parking lot, so he stepped up to the V8. Needless to say John had the perma-grin smile all day with his new SUV, ski boat, Spy shades and SNOWBOARD Mag swag.

The customized boat has it all, including an 11 speaker system with amp and iPod-ready hook ups, custom Spy logo interior and exterior sticker wrap, ski tower and enough built in beer coolers to keep even the most tainted river rat buzzed all summer. When I asked John if he’d be renewing his subscription to SNOWBOARD Magazine this year, he of course said, “that won’t be a problem.”
