Skate for the Cure

After a crazy few days out in Mammoth last week, I rallied back home to Utah just in time for the Susan G Komen (www.Komen.org) Race for the Cure that took place in Salt Lake City.

Our close friend and fellow industry-ite Krista Moroge was diagnosed with Breast Cancer earlier this year. For those of you that don’t know Krista she is one of the most amazing people I have met in my life. Krista has spent the majority of her life involved in the shred industry in one form or another. When Krista isn’t out slanging the latest goods for Burton it is likely that she is on the mountain, at the race track lapping her street bike, or skating laps around you at the local skatepark.

Sher Jones was kind enough to organize a team to participate in the race. Krista’s Krew had big plans to skate the 3 miles for the benefit, this we found out was against race policy. So the shirts you see were made in place.

Industry peeps from all around made there way to Salt Lake in support of our friend….. KRISTA.
