Another long winter has passed and things are heating up at Windells Snowboard Camp as we approach another great summer. With well over 800 inches of snowfall on the Mt. Hood Glacier the summer season could go down in history.
Tim Windell and his crew have been making some big preparations and changes to assure everyone that they can look forward to getting their shred on with some of the best facility’s a park can offer.

Red Bull has kicked down to create a ton of new handrails and jibs on hill, there is more snow on Mt. Hood then there has been in 20 plus years, and Jamie Weller has been putting together some unreal changes to the skate setup on the Windells Campus.

New Head Coach Reed Silberman is proud to announce this years coaching line up for 2008. The following coaches will be showing camper’s how every trick is done with style and grace. Adam Anderson, Andre Cameron, James Frederick, Molly Aquirre, Matt Doman, Eric Dummer, Joel Cline, Pat Milbery, Meg Pug, Sarah Phillips, Lucas Wilson, Cory Meyers, Forest Wedmore, and others have all the experience needed to make this summer as fun as it can be.
Pro Shred and CO local Jason Legge is heading up the Digger squad and plans to build some of the biggest jumps Windells has ever seen. With the amazing amount of snow there is no doubt this is true.

Every year the off hill facilities just keep improving. Off hill there are tons of new additions including the new video game super awesome lounge, Windells own snowboard/skate shop, and tons of new skate additions all over the campus including inside “BOB”.
This year the on hill schedule is like never before - contests, games, and more including the O-Matic Toddapalooza contest, hot dog eating contest, Elm Picnic In The Park, Dakine snow contest, tug of war, high ollie contest, the pit of dispair, salt bag races, Spacecraft bunny head jib, Rome layback limbo, the rail masters, and tons more.
Make sure you get out to Hood this summer and check out all the fun!
