June 9-12, 2008 - Most non-industry folks don’t realize that the summer months can sometimes be just as important or even busier than the winter months for a snowboard brand. As a testament to this truth, we here at Signal are excited to announce we’ve wrapped up another quarterly product and design meeting in Seattle last week.
“On the agenda, we talked about everything from new designs and materials to ad campaigns and team riders to events & promotions, Signal Coffee and even where we think our next demo tours ought to take us,” explains owner/operator Dave Lee, “These quarterly meetings also give us the opportunity to get to the real issues, like who will win the ‘Golden Wiffle,’ our quarterly stickball pennant.”

According to Eric Bouvet, Signal West Coast Sales Manager, “These meetings are great fun and they keep us focused, making sure everything is in place for the new season ahead— dialing in our shops, organizing a calendar of On-snows, P.O.P. requests, eating pasta at Norm’s in Fremont and keeping us on point with the Park Rocker craze.”

This summer marks a full year since the addition and creation of The Lodge, Signal’s vertically integrated factory where you can design, build, and ride all in one day. Without all of you dedicated shredders, retailers and suppliers out there, we couldn’t be who we are, doing the things we love. Thank you for helping us make our dreams come true.

Have a great summer!
All the best,
Signal
