Sydney, (July 10, 2008) – The new snow couldn’t have come at a better time for Australia’s best snowboarders as they gear up to descend on Mt Buller this Saturday 12th July for the 3rd Annual Cattleman’s Rail Jam, presented by Burton Snowboards and Mt Buller. Ten of Australia’s pro’s will battle it out for over $5,000 cash and prizes in a 1 hour jam which kicks off at 6pm on Mt Buller's famed Cattleman's Rail in the village square.

Last year’s winner Max Cookes, together with Robbie Walker, Tom Pelley, Jake McCarthy, Mikey Williams and 15 old young gun Jye Kearney will be amongst the invited riders showcasing their repertoire of tricks under lights for the biggest rail event of the year.

“The atmosphere at Cattleman’s can’t be beat,” says Burton snowboarder Tom Pelley from Bright, Victoria. “The riders are amped about the recent snowfall so it’s the perfect time to put on a good show for everyone who comes down to check out the action.”

In addition to showcasing some of Australia’s best snowboarding, there’ll be a live DJ and plenty of crowd giveaways. The official after-party kicks off at 8pm at Cattleman's Restaurant, supported by Tooheys Extra Dry.
