have seen a few already from friends and myself buying
double decade is killer, overseas is really good with a rad soundtrack.
but for this season thats it thats all is my top so far.
am keen to see my own 2 feet. any words on that one???
Stack footy is fun, just like all of the think thank videos have been. I found the soundtrack to be more annoying than anything though. Like, to the point where i didn't want to see it again.
Familia is over the top. Of course. But this year they went just too far. I remember the days of Gen Pop when FODT had 80's music and justin hebbel. Also, they advertised a Marc Frank part that didn't exist.
All Day, Everyday gets my vote for best all around video that I'VE seen. It's got beautiful filming, good editing, a pretty even mix of the aspects of snowboarding, good tunes and lots of riders.
The Burton video is good, but I just couldn't get into it. Anti-Burton sentiment perhaps. Keegan is good.
Bozwreck 2 was way better than expected and better than the first one, by far. Plus, the bonus/party/credits footage is 20 minutes longer than the actual video itself and includes several of my friends, so maybe some bias there too.
That's It, That's All doesn't belong in the same category with the rest of these. It's a snowboard FILM, not a video. Everything in it is epic, but you have to take it for what it is. It's not something that you watch and then want to go out and ride right away, it's something that you sit in front of with your mouth open, going "what a sick fuck" every 2 minutes.
I want to see...
1. the bluebird video
2. Peter Line's part from forum or against 'em
3. The Boned Age
4. No Correct Way
5. These Days
peter lines part is sick, but the rest of the forum video is pretty damn mediocre if you ask me. theres definitely some good parts, wall kills it, blauvelt is getting pretty damn good, moore is the man, kennedy, sauve. i dont know i guess the movie was good, but i think they need a new direction. they cant keep hyping these movies like they're gonna be these epic, mind-blowing, true life/resistance type shit and then put out a video that pretty much any crew could put out. and enough voice overs, jp's gone, and unless its line or maybe malmi i dont think anyone cares about the other riders enough to listen to them... yet
and i still dont think stevie bell is good enough to be pro. hes good, had clean style and all that, but his tricks are just lacking.
guns out is sick if you want some crazy tech riding/progression with clean style. i think those kids are onto something. editing is perfect, songs arent tooo played... yet, and the riding is really on-point
thats it thats all is pretty mind-bottling. its hard to put into words how good of a movie it is. its difficult to make an all back-country video that even a "rail kid" from the ice coast can get hyped on, but boy did they do it. but again, maybe get rid of the semi-gay travis voice over. unless its funny or adds some real story to a section, im pretty sure i already couldve told you that snowboarding is rice's life and that everyone looks up to terje
i got T.I.T.A. on itunes and its pretty damn epic but it is almost to epic for a shred film...the riding is killer but i can only take so much t rice. but landvik is the tops. especially in standards Aesthetica which is my fav this year. The Mads and Johan part is worth it alone. Other than that I have watched the Airblaster August movie online...it was cool cause i ride hood all winter and to see those guys shred and have fun around there is cool to see. And i watched some of the Forum video parts on the tube...Peter Line's was rad as was Blauvelt's. I want to see all of Gigi's footage but havent seen his vids it in any shops, just Ready? how is that one?

trailers and videos
check out all the trailers and samples from the 2009 snowboard videos plus lots more free snowboard vids
that's it that's all obviously rocks but take a look at some of the smaller videos of the year, independent movies are definitely getting better
nice link. and i would
nice link. and i would agree with you that indie flicks are getting better and better.
