Snowboard Mag logo in SSX4

Looking though a friends copy of game informer, I was glancing over a page previewing the game SSX 4 when I did a double take. Noticing that the logo on the guys hat looked almost identical to the Snowboard Mag logo. Even better it is in the exact same location as the logo on the new era hat. Coincidence...I think not.

I saw that last week. The folks at EA Big do their homework, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were not coincidence. (Lots of songs on the game's playlist can be found on numerous snowboarding DVD's from the last few seasons.)

Hopefully nothing bad comes of this 'cuz the whole SSX series is damn good fun. Maybe Snowboard Mag could even tweak this to get their name on the game somewhere? Hell, Honda did in the SSX3!

I heard that...

the SSX people were at the SIA tradeshow. If any of you were there, you know that they saw the hat there. Interesting.

The links below are some screenshots from the game. The first has a banner for Option snowboards in the background. The next has a character shot wearing some Grenade (Crimson/Misfits) pipe gloves. In a separate developer interview video, the guy mentioned 4FRNT twin tips, too, who recently reached an agreement to make their skis in Option's factory.

Bottom line though, the game looks ciik!
