Fourth Annual WCI at Mammoth

WCI at Mammoth

The fourth annual West Coast Invitaional went down tonight in downtown Mammoth. Mike Cassanova walked away with the win and ten grand. Eddie Wall grabbed second and two G's. It was a typical scaffolding setup with a down round rail, down-flat-down ledge, and a flat-down box with a little surprise at the end. The competition was tight between Cassanova and Wall, but The riders voted and gave it to Mike.

There were a bunch of hard hits, though. Matt Hammer had a scary fall on the kink ledge, Cory Cronk got KO'ed, Mike Burton re-injured his knee, and a handful of riders couldn't make it through till the end of the jam.

Midwest Representin!!!!

Yeah Cassanova! Midwest is takin over!!!

YEAH!

Mike was killing it last night. It was a great night, minus the fist fights.

///

fist fights? what happened, who was playing rocky?

Rocky 6, 7, 8...?

Yeah, Eye of the Tiger came on over the sound system, and then a fight broke out. It was broken up, then restarted, a rent-a-cop was slugged, then it was broken up, then it restarted, even though the cops were there, then "that guy" was tasered. Then Kass threw a snowball into the mayhem to cool 'em down. Did you get all that?

wait...

...the midwest has almost always owned it. hell yeah nova!

So Dope!

Some riders Mike C, Eddie, and Bradshaw really stepped it up in the last half of the contest.

Other riders pretty much just sucked and probably should have stopped shredding in the first half to get out of the way.
