Well today is the day I've been waiting for. I finally got a job up at Mammoth Mountain, Ca for the season and will be relocating in November! So, even though it's still July I will start getting in shape and planning my adventure.

Along the way I will be keeping notes and taking tons of pictures in case you are dieing to get out of your desk job (just like me) and head up to the snow for a few months of winter bliss.

So far I got the job but now I need to find a place to live, buy some new gear, sell all my belongings, convince everyone I know that I am not crazy, get in shape, save some money, find a fake ID, and then before I know it, November rolls around and I am in a winter wonderland for 6 months.

As you can see it's not going to be easy but I think with a little persistance it will be the single most rewarding experience of my life. I'll make sure to keep you posted.
