It's that time of year, when it's just to hot, it's been plenty warm for the last five months and i'm just ready for it to cool down. Around Mid August I get this unshakeable urge, I am definatly hooked on this snowboard thing i want it to rule my life like the cocain rules a addicts life. There are just months to go untill the big move and every day that it nears i feel more prepared to make snowboarding my lifes purpose. I can't wait to just freeride all the time without a care in the world. Being poor is just fine by me as long as i am living the dream, snowboarding everyday. Steamboat Springs, and its epic powder, is calling my name loud and clear. The itch i am talking about is somthing i think just about every snowboarder has experianced. The itch is something that makes you a real snowboarder. If you get the itch that just might just be what keeps you coming back every year. The itch is what makes you work 50 extra hours just so you can get a new deck. I know that snowboarding for some is just a hobby, something to do on spring break or on a quick vacation with their parents. These people don't get the itch, these people have "snowboarded." SnowboardERS get the itch.
Do You Get The Itch.
Oh damn...
That must have been what all those red bumps and scratching were about when I got home from Mammoth... or maybe it was that one girl... either way. I feel you. Good luck! A little calamine lotion and snowporn goes a long way.
yo yo yo
this kids had the itch since last winter ended trust me. if it was possible to live in a snowboard bag by the terrian park he would do it. to bad he looks like he takes a shit when he rides. just look for him next year he'll either be kicked out of steamboat or in a coma by the end of the season.
The thing about that is...
Haha! Even when the boat opens, you still get another itch for the gates.
A couple of my friends just got back from a trip to NZ. They got to satisfy the itch and its killing me!
