In the quarter final the two Finnish spin specialists Antti Autti and Risto Mattila met one another. With a Backside 720° perfectly stomped, Risto Mattila qualified for one of the two final places. The second duel to get into the final took place between Mathieu Crepel (FRA) and the double "freestyle.champ" Marc André Tarte (CAN). Tarte inspired the public and the Judges with a surprising Onefoot Backflip and although he could not land it cleanly, he continued to pull, in order to begin in the large final against Risto Mattila. The Finn fell on a 900° Tailgrab. Again Tarte showed a Onefoot Backflip, but also with the second attempt the Canadian fell - however only in the runout. Tarte referred the Finn the second place. "with my having trick Tarte goes after the winner honour for me today a dream into fulfilment". In the small final Mathieu Crepel beat out Antti Autti for third place.

That quote made me laugh.
Not quite sure what is going on there but the quote at the end of the story was hilarious. Man, I just started laughing all over again. Was that Risto Mattila?
