Buying a new board

I'm looking to buy a new board been riding snice 91. Haven't kept up with the the scene the last couple of years so I need some help.
I ride the East coast Hunter MTN Camelback mountain creek.
All mountain riding going fast and big and a little bit in the park.
Boards I've own are Avalanche 168(1st board), Joyride 156, hazmat baron 160(still own) and a matt cummings lib tech 158(still own)
I'm 6'0 180 size 11 1/2. Thanks for your help.

Get a wide board

Make sure whatever you do, get a wide board. At 11.5, you have big feet. First and foremost you don't want toe drag, and by the sound of your quiver, you have that problem on an ongoing basis. Every mfg has a wide board- I would reccomend something about 165 for your size and terrain. The bigger the board, the faster IT will want to be ridden.
I would suggest going into a specialty retailer in your area. They can talk you through it and size you up with just the right stick.
Try Eastern Board and Skate, Ski Barn or Hawk Skate in Paramus or Cury's in Ramsey, Mt. Everest in Westwood, Princeton Ski Shop in Clifton.

Good luck, let us know how the seach comes along.

162:ish

Go for a quality wide board in the 159-164 range. My recommendations would be a Glissade 162W, either their freestyle model Capsule or their all mountain model Kenron. You could also go for a Compatriot The Guide 162. All of those are great quality boards that will suit your needs perfectly.

If you wanna go a bit more mainstream look for a Gnu 11 Up or any wide Libtech in your desired length.
